I can't tell you how pumped up I was when the amazingly talented Lisa Holloway sent me word that she found out about an old abandoned mine, which was located about halfway between us. Oh, and it's haunted. There were ghosthunters camped out there that evening when we were on our way out. Pretty crazy stuff! Anyway, Lisa's daughter Calista is obviously a beauty, and boy does the camera love her. Plus she's a sweetie and super smart. A really cool little girl. So thank you Lisa for inviting me! Thank you for a blast, and an adventure of an afternoon! (Did I mention that Lisa is not only super cool, but also fearless? And that I'm pretty sure she's convinced I'm a neurotic ninny :D.) This place was an endless abyss of cool stuff!

Not only are they beautiful, down to earth, kind people, but they are also amazing photographers. You can't beat being awesome on both sides of the camera! The connection and sweet chemistry between these two is amazing, and what a treat it was to photograph them. Thanks Brittany and Merek for choosing me to be a part of this special time in your life. I can't wait for April!

It was an adventure! Rabits, mammoth ants (I was informed by Miss Bella that they were headed to an ant meeting), prickly plants, badger holes...you know, the norm for outdoor photography :). What a great time this was, and what a beautiful family. I had the best time getting to know them and enjoy their wonderful family dynamic. Thank you Tamburrelli family!
